Welcome back to my crafty blog! What a fun card I have for you today!  Such a cute card especially if they love that famous mouse, Mickey.  I was inspired to make this card after watching Disney's Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade on YouTube. It was such a fun card to put together.  All of the products used in the card are from Kat Scrappiness and I love how well they go together. For the base of the card, I die cut the house part with orange cardstock and ink blended around the edges with a darker orange.  I  die cut the mouse ears in black cardstock. For the door, I die cut the door with purple cardstock and also used the same door die cut to die cut directly onto the house base.  Oh, and don't forget the doorknob! In order to make this house spooky, you will need the Haunted House Add On Dies.  From that set, I used the boarded window dies in kraft cardstock, the spooky roof in purple cardstock, the bricks in gray cardstock (die cut 3 or 4 times)...

Who loves to wake up in the morning and grab that wonderful, delicious cup of coffee?  I know I sure do!  But sometimes, I'm running late, or ran out of creamer 😞.  So what then?  I check my gift card stash and yippee...there's a gift card from my favorite local coffee shop!  Now, wouldn't you love to give that same joy to someone by giving them a gift card in a special gift card holder? That's what I created here: Kat Scrappiness recently had a fantastic release of products which I used only two to make this holder. Cuppa Joe Gift Card Tag Die - 9 dies to cut everything here (and a stirrer/straw not shown) Brew-Tiful Beans 6x6 stencil First, I die cut the tag die on white card stock and stenciled the part that will be shown on top using three shades of brown and one a burnt reddish color to add some color to the design.  Using what was left on my brown ink blending brush, I lightly ink blended the sides of the cup.  I set that aside to work on the re...

Hello Again! Well, it's Christmas Card planning in my little card making world! This card is so pretty. It gives the look of a shaker card, but surprise - it's really not! As a Creative Crew Team Member for Kat Scrappiness, I was so excited for their new product releases.  From their new release for this card I used Kats Essential Builder Dies 2 and the Fine Line Flowers Craft Dies.  Even though it says flowers, the smallest die looks similar to small snowflakes.  So I decided to make a Merry Christmas card. For the background panel, I used their Stitch Swirling Snow Background Craft die and die cut with white cardstock.  I also used white cardstock to die cut the Builder Die #2. For the blue snowflakes, I did not have any blue glitter cardstock so I needed to be creative.  I have their Glitter Mousse in the Blue Shabby Color and spread that onto white cardstock and let that dry overnight. Hello again! Today I'd like to share a card I recently made for Kat Scrappiness as one of the members of the Creative Crew Team. Kat Scrappiness recently had a wonderful product release featuring several great products that should be staples in your collection.  You can find all of the products here at www.katscrappiness.com . One of the new products released was the Kat Essential Card Builder Dies 3 (there's also #1, and #2). This die is very versatile. You can use it as a shaker card with four individual shaker squares, stamp cute animal images peeking out from the edges, create beautiful scenes in each "window", inlay pattern paper into each square, or tuck in die cuts as I did in this card here: After ink blending the back ground with a yellow, a lighter orange, and a burnt red shade, I die cut the Kats Essential Card Builder Die #3 with white cardstock and set both aside.
